Is The Rapture Biblical?
Yes. Even tho know where in the Bible is the word "Rapture" in the English bible it does talk about it. Rapture means to "be caught up" and in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 it says "Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."
It is clear in the Bible that the true Christians will be raptured prior to the 7 year tribulation. In 2 Thessalonians 2:7 it says "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way." Meaning there is a deterant holding back the anti-christ from appearning now and that deterant is the holy spirit which is in the church (body of true believers). Once the deterant is removed the anti-christ will be revealed or once the church is raptured the anti-christ will come forth.
